Intimate Minneapolis Wedding Overlooking the Stone Arch Bridge | Kristy and Joe

Weddings

Kristy and Joe started the day high above Minneapolis, with a first look on the rooftop and some of the best views in the city stretching out behind them. The Stone Arch Bridge, the Guthrie, the Gold Medal Flour sign and the river all within view. We stayed up there for portraits, taking advantage of the skyline and a warm, late summer afternoon that gave us plenty of reason to linger.

Later, their closest friends joined them for an intimate ceremony. It was small, sentimental and wonderfully relaxed. Everyone was close to the action, the kind of setting that made the whole thing feel less like an event to watch and more like something everyone was part of.

Cocktail hour followed with a sprawling charcuterie spread and nowhere anyone particularly needed to be. People poured a drink, grabbed a plate, caught up and settled into the evening.

That simplicity suited Kristy and Joe. A beautiful setting, their favorite people, really good food and a fuss-free celebration. And Minneapolis looking particularly good in the background, of course.
