A small guest list, their closest people, and a spring day at Woodland Glasshaus that happened to line up perfectly with the cherry blossoms being in full bloom. No rushing around, no trying to pack a million things into the day. Just a really beautiful place and plenty of time to actually enjoy it.
The glass walls and woods surrounding Woodland Glasshaus made the whole day feel tucked away, while the cherry blossoms gave us a very short-lived little window of Minnesota spring magic for portraits. Sometimes the timing just works.
The rest of the day followed the same energy: calm, intimate and centered around spending time with the people who were actually there. Dinner, drinks, good conversation and eventually a dance floor.
And then, naturally, the cats arrived.
Not the actual cats, unfortunately. Giant cutout versions of their heads made an appearance at the after party, which honestly felt like the appropriate way to wrap things up.
